Unsoed and Ibaraki University Japan agreed to Joint Research and Student Exchange
[unsoed.ac.id, Mon, 25/7/16] Transnational strategic partnership undoubtedly contributes to maintain a university existence. In this globalization era, international cooperation becomes inevitable thing to accelerate university competitiveness. Accordingly, Unsoed and Ibaraki University are going to conduct joint research and student exchange as explained by the Coordinator of International Cooperation of UPT International Service, CondroWibowo, Ph.D. He added that Unsoedcommited to develop other program especially in agriculture and other fields.
In a three-day program, Unsoed delegation consisting of Vice Rector of Planning and Cooperation, SigitWibowo, the Dean of Agriculture Faculty, AnisulRosyad and Coordinator of International Service, CondroWibowo carried out several activities such as meeting with the President of Ibaraki University, Prof Nobuo Mimura and Prof Yosuro along with their representatives. This is a follow-up program after the signing of MoU which include the meeting with lecturers and students of Ibaraki University who will conduct community service in Purbalingga upcoming August. Furthermore, Unsoed plans to initiate cooperation with Ibaraki Chuo Energy (ICE) and meet Japan Rotary Club. In these recent days, both universities will coordinate further to conduct joint research.
