Faculty of Biology

The Faculty of Biology was founded on November 23, 1963, by the PTIP Ministerial Decree number 153 1963. The decree allowed this faculty to administer three departments: Generic Biology, Zoology, and Botany. The Generic Biology was changed into Environmental Biology in 1985. In 1999, however, based on the Government Regulation number 60, those departments were eliminated. As the consequence, the faculty, until present, has only one study program.  The Faculty of Biology has achieved A (the highest achievement) on its accreditation since August 2011 based on SK BAN PT NO Sk 014/BAN-PT/Ak-XIV/S1/VII/2011.
