Maria Dyah Nur Meinita
Dr. Maria Dyah Nur Meinita, S.Pi, M.Sc is a lecturer with achievements at Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences. She obtained her M.Sc degree from Norwegian University of Science, Norway and her Doctor of Engineering at the age of 30 on Seaweed Biotechnology from Pukyong National University of South Korea. Her activities related to universiti’s Tri Dharma (Three Main Duties) lead her to the first place of Outstanding Lecturers at Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences and also the second place of University Outsanding Lecturers in 2015.
Dr. Maria did not only obtain achievements from national but also international level for the shake of Jenderal Soedirman University due to her international publications in international journals which lead her into top 15 of Indonesian researchers in the field of Marine based on Thomson Reuters. International recognition was also given to her as a keynote speaker at stadium general on “Indonesian Seaweed : Its Exploration and Utilization” organized by Ocean University of China, China. On that occasion, Dr. Maria has given a good image of Jenderal Soedirman University by delivering materials she concerns for all this time on seaweed biodiversity and its utilization.
The other recognitions are in the form of intivitation as guest researcher at Biotechnology Department, College of Fisheries Science at Pukyong National University (PKNU), South Korea and as guest researcher at College of Marine Life Sciences of Ocean University of China (OUC) for a workshop of Marine Algae Resource Exploration and Its Utilization.
Dr. Maria is also invited as representative of Indonesia in High-level Talents Training Courses on Asian Marine Management and Blue Economy and has the opportunity to introduce Jenderal Soedirman University at the 8th China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week held in Guiyang, China. Research grants she had ever obtained include Competitive Research Grant, International Cooperation Grant and Publication, and also an International Collaboration Research Grant. Her researches on seaweed biotechnology that she had already conducted during 2014-2016 lead her to be best presenter in the national conference arranged by Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Republic Indonesia and lead her to win Jenderal Soedirman University award of 2015 in research category
