[unsoed.ac.id, Fri, 23/05/25] A lecturer at the Food Technology Study Program, Jenderal Soedirman University (Unsoed), Condro Wibowo, S.TP., M.Sc., Ph.D., has been honored as a Visiting Lecturer at the Advanced Program of Food Technology, Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Food Technology, Nong Lam University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This opportunity took place from May 5 to 16, 2025.
Nong Lam University (NLU) in Ho Chi Minh City is one of Vietnam’s public universities, focusing on agriculture and forestry. One of NLU’s flagship programs is the Advanced Education Program (AEP), an international-standard curriculum-based learning process involving faculty members and students from various countries.
The Advanced Program of Food Technology has received certification from AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance), demonstrating its commitment to educational quality standards.
The program invites guest lecturers from various institutions and countries, including UC Davis (United States), Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, Ireland, and Indonesia.
Dr. Condro Wibowo teaches the Food Packaging course as a guest lecturer. It is a two-credit required course for sixth-semester students.
“The course material, which is typically covered over one semester, is condensed into two intensive weeks and attended by 28 students,” said Condro.
Condro added that Nong Lam University covered all expenses for this activity (airfare, accommodation, transportation, etc.).
