Unsoed Professional Nurses Education Program Achieve National Best Predicate 4 Years in A Row

[unsoed.ac.id, Wed, 07/05/25 The Ners Professional Education Program at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed) once again made a proud national achievement. Based on the results of the Annual Meeting of the Association of Indonesian Nursing Education Institutions (AIPNI), the Unsoed Nursing Study Program was named the National Best Nursing Program for four in a row.

This achievement was conveyed directly by Dr. Arif Setyo Upoyo, S.Kp., Ners., M.Kep. as the Coordinator of Unsoed’s Ners Study Program, in the 33rd Ners Professional Oath Taking event held on Tuesday (6/5/2025) at the Unsoed Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKes) Hall.

A total of 38 graduates took the oath after passing the first period of the Indonesian National Competency Test in 2025. This success was strengthened by the Decree of the National Committee for Health Student Competency Examination Number 0260/UK-Kes/T/IV/2025 dated April 16, 2025, which stated that all participants from Unsoed passed with a 100% pass rate.

“The graduates this time are very special, because they are not only come from various provinces in Indonesia such as Central Java, West Java, East Java, and Yogyakarta Special Region, but there are also international students from West Star Antsirabe, Madagascar, Africa who participated in the exam and passed and competent,” said Dr. Arif.

Furthermore, he explained that this batch was exceptional. In addition to achieving a full pass on the Competency Test first taker, the average Grade Point Average (GPA) of graduates reached 3.86. A total of six scientific papers (16.22%) have also been successfully published in national journals.

The graduates have been equipped with various certifications supporting professionalism, such as Certificates of Competence, Basic Trauma Cardiac Life Support (BTCLS), and other certificates. This opens up great opportunities for them to practice independently and compete in the national and international workforce.

“Alhamdulillah, as many as 24.32% of graduates have obtained their first job, including two people who were accepted as candidates for government employees at the Ministry of Health,” he added.

The excellence of Unsoed’s Bachelor of Nursing, Nurse Professional, and Master of Nursing Study Programs is also reflected in the “Superior” accreditation that has been achieved, allowing alumni to continue their studies through LPDP scholarships. In addition, FIKes Unsoed is currently preparing for the Field Assessment of the opening of the Nursing Doctoral Program. This achievement emphasizes Unsoed’s commitment in producing professional nurses who are competent and globally competitive.
