[unsoed.ac.id, Tues, 20/05/25] The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) at Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (Unsoed) organized an International Visiting Lecture featuring Associate Professor Dr. Amena Sibghatullah from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in Malaysia.
The activity occurred over two days, specifically on May 15-16, 2025, at the Integrated Laboratory Building of FEB Unsoed. The visiting lecture was attended by students from various study programs, including the Doctor of Management Science (S3), Master of Management (S2), Bachelor of Management (S1), and D3 programs in Business Administration, Office Administration, and International Business.
The topic of this visiting lecture was "Synergising Pricing Strategy and Integrated Marketing Communication: Creating Value and Competitive Advantage in the Digital Era".
“Through this visiting lecture, we aim to expand students' perspectives and enhance the global competence of the academic community in the Management Department of FEB Unsoed,” stated Head of Department Dr. Nur Choirul Afif, SE, M.Si.
Dr. Amena Sibghatullah is an experienced academic and practitioner in marketing and entrepreneurship, with a proven track record in international entrepreneurship development. In addition to delivering public lectures, Dr. Amena has participated in teaching sessions for several courses, including Marketing Management and Strategy Analysis in the Master of Management program, as well as in the Bachelor of Management, D3 International Business, D3 Office Administration, and D3 Business Administration study programs.
“My motivation in sharing knowledge with UNSOED students is to help them gain inspiration and new insights in the field of marketing from academic experts,” said Dr. Amena.
In addition to academic activities, the visit also aimed to establish international research collaboration (IRC) between the lecturers of FEB Unsoed and Universiti Teknologi MARA.
A proposal for this research collaboration is currently being prepared by a team of lecturers, which includes Dr. Weni Novandari (chairperson), Dr. Larisa Pradisti, Dr. Lusi Suwandari, and Dr. Nur Choirul Afif. This collaboration is part of a strategic effort to advance the vision and mission of FEB Unsoed, particularly in the context of internationalizing study programs.
