[unsoed.ac.id, Mon, 06/05/24] The Institute for Research and Community Service or Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (LPPM) Unsoed signed 4 cooperation documents with universities in Taiwan, Wednesday (24/05/24). The activity took place in the LPPM Meeting Room 2nd Floor, and coincided with the FGD “Bridging Futures: Exploring Disaster Prevention in Taiwan and Indonesia” as an activity of the Transportation and Regional Development Research Center.
The cooperation includes:
- Memorandum of Understanding between LPPM and College of Engineering, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan;
- Memorandum of Agreement between LPPM and Computer Aided Structural Analysis Laboratory, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan;
- Joint Research Agreement between LPPM and Computer Aided Structural Analysis Laboratory, National Cheng Kung University-NCKU, Taiwan (R.O.C) regarding static, dynamic and seismic analysis of reinforced concrete beams reinforced with high strength concrete.
- Joint Research Agreement between LPPM and Tainan Experimental Technology Division, National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering-NCREE, Taiwan (R.O.C) on Seismic Response Study of RC T-Beams Reinforced with CFRP-UHPC Composite Loaded by Ground Motion Near Fault.
The Head of LPPM, Prof. Dr. Ir. Elly Tugiyanti, M.P., IPU, ASEAN Eng accompanied by the Secretary of LPPM hopes that the international research collaboration will increase publications in reputable international journals and expand LPPM’s research network at the international level. This is in accordance with Unsoed’s slogan: independent, advanced, global in achieving its vision.
The activity was attended by the Heads of Coordinating Centers, Heads of Research Centers, lecturers and students. After the activity, an audience was held with Rector, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Vice Rector for Cooperation at Jenderal Soedirman University.
