[unsoed.ac.id, Tues, 08/07/25] The Faculty of Economics and Business at Jenderal Soedirman University (FEB UNSOED) has again shown its commitment to fostering student entrepreneurship through the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Entrepreneurship Export program.
One of the highlights of this program is the Product Pitching event, which takes place at the Integrated Lab of the Faculty of Economics and Business at UNSOED, located on the 5th floor. This event offers students a platform to present the products they have developed during the program.
The product pitching event took place on Thursday, July 3, 2025, marking the conclusion of the fifth batch of the MBKM Export-Import program, which has been running for 2.5 years. This program is conducted every semester and involves students from various study programs. To implement the program, a strategic collaboration was established between FEB UNSOED and two external partners: PT UBA UHUD International and CV WIMI FU International.
Students receive intensive guidance from two primary mentors: M. Noor Fahmi, Founder of PT UBA UHUD International, and Wiji Prianti, Founder of CV WIMI FU International. These mentors provide training and support in developing companies and designing products that are prepared for the export market. Their teaching approach combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience in the field.
A total of 14 students participated in this pitching activity, including 9 students from the Economics and Development Studies (IESP) program and 5 students from the Management program. The products they presented were diverse, ranging from food items to processed goods, all of which had export potential. Some teams had even established communication with potential buyers, and others were in the process of approaching the market.
During the program, students receive thorough guidance from mentors and Field Supervisors (DPL). They learn not only the technical aspects and business strategies but also gain hands-on experience in developing a business from the ground up. This equips students with real-world experience in building and managing export-oriented businesses.
“This program clearly demonstrates that the academic and industrial sectors can collaborate to nurture strong young entrepreneurs. In addition to enhancing entrepreneurial skills, this program also expands students' understanding of international trade. It is hoped that the initiatives they start during the program will continue to develop sustainably, even after they complete their university studies.” said Pahrul Fauzi, S.E., M.Si., as the head of the MBKM FEB UNSOED.
