[unsoed.ac.id, Tues, 20/05/25] Kampus Desa team from Universitas Jenderal Soedirman (UNSOED) won 1st place in the Business Competition 2025: Next Wave Revive Pitch Challenge which took place on 18-19 May 2025 at the Ukhuwah Islamiyah Auditorium, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto (UMP).
The UNSOED team, consisting of Rafi Ashza Sejati (Faculty of Public Health, 2022), Muhammad Fanan Adi Kusuma (Electrical Engineering, 2024), and Fajar Rizky Nugraha (Electrical Engineering, 2024), performed impressively under the guidance of Ir. Yogi Ramadhani, S.T., M.Eng.
“Embodying the vision of ‘Dari Desa untuk Indonesia dan Dunia,’ this team presents an innovative and impactful business idea focused on village empowerment. The jury recognizes its high feasibility for implementation. This concept demonstrates that the potential of villages can effectively address both national and global challenges," stated Yogi.
In this competition, they successfully outperformed two other finalists: Gadjah Mada University (UGM), which placed second, and Muhammadiyah Purwokerto University (UMP), which took third place.
This prestigious competition highlights the spirit of collaboration and sustainable business innovation among students from various esteemed universities. Participants underwent a rigorous selection process that included stages such as developing a Business Model Canvas (BMC), preparing proposals, creating pitch decks, and delivering live presentations to professional judges.
This victory demonstrates that significant changes can begin at the grassroots level and highlights the crucial role of students in presenting locally-based solutions that have national and global impacts.
